Was there fraud in our recent presidential election? Yes, there was. It appears that I might have committed such a crime in casting my vote.
Like many Americans, I was hard pressed to vote for either candidate. Policy positions likely to emerge from a Kamala Harris White House were troubling, to say the least. Donald Trump’s policies were …. well … hard to discern, if they existed at all.
My solution was to cast my vote for a write-in candidate, Joe Manchin. He embodies a true sense of service to his constituents and to the country at large. All okay up to this point.
Then, I made the mistake of mentioning my decision to a liberal friend of mine. She was furious, saying, “You idiot! That is a defacto a vote for Trump.”
A day later, I told a Trump supporter of my write-in solution. He fumed, “You realize that your write-in equals a vote for Harris, Thanks a lot!”
Three votes in the same election? Definitely fraudulent.
Fortunately, I avoided jail time. Special Counsel Jack Smith had been preparing to indict me but relented when I offered to burn my MAGA cap.
